Abstract: Through measuring biomass, productivity and energy structure of different-aged Dendrocalamus latiflorus plantations planted on mountainous areas, results showed that biomass, productivity and energy structure tended to increase with the age of stand. In the stand aged over three, the structures of the biomass and energy on ground were larger than those under ground.Biomass and energy of vegetation under forest tended to decrease with the age of stand, energy store of vegetation layer were larger than that of arbor layer in one-year-old and two-year-old plantations.Energy value of different groups of forest ranged from 17.205 9 to 20.280 6 kJ·g-1,the largest was shrub layer, the lowest was litter layer.
